In recent years, Angolan institutions have been strengthening their corporate governance models, particularly in the financial sector. This progress has been largely driven by increased regulatory requirements.

Simultaneously, BODIVA, established in 2014, has been consolidating its technological infrastructure and transactions, which has created the conditions for the launch of the first Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Angola.

This milestone has paved the way for more Angolan institutions to turn to the capital market as an alternative source of financing. However, to do so, they need to have an action plan in place to implement good corporate governance practices, as investors prioritize and value companies with good governance.

In light of this scenario, we will be hosting a webinar on September 23, 2022, titled "Good Corporate Governance Practices and Capital Opening (IPO)," with the aim of demonstrating how a solid governance structure, supported by technological solutions, can contribute to the success of IPO processes.
